Classics Abroad is pleased to announce the 2007-2008
Project Award, given to a deserving participant in
either the 2007 or 2008 Paris Piano Program. The
Project Award will fund an original project that
advances the recipient's career and enhances the
profession.
This significant award is one way in which Classics
Abroad encourages pianists to pursue creative paths
and to give form to their artistic ideas. All types
of musical projects will be considered, including
commissioning new works, producing a recording,
funding an unusual performance, or exploring new
media.
Projects that show distinct originality and
practical feasibility will be favored.
The Project Award is made possible through a
generous grant from the Chimei Foundation.
