Paris Piano Program

July 31 through August 15

The Paris Piano Program is devoted to all aspects of the training and advancement of pianists. Set in the magical city of Paris in the summertime, the Paris Piano Program offers in-depth and personalized study for pianists seeking to perfect their skills, broaden their knowledge, and immerse themselves in a rich, historic, cultural environment.

The program is selective, and open to conservatory-level pianists. The curriculum consists of frequent piano lessons, master-classes with renowned artists, and special seminars on keyboard-related topics (see schedule). At the discretion of the faculty, students will have the opportunity to perform in the gorgeous Salle Cortot.

Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and must make independent housing arrangements.

In certain cases, it is possible to enroll in the Paris Piano Program on a weekly basis. Please contact the administration for details.

Paris Piano Program participants may apply for the $10,000 Project Award.

Amateur Program

July 31 through August 15

The Amateur Program is open to adults who have pursued serious piano studies, but who are not currently earning a living from performing or teaching piano. The Amateur Program is designed for people who are passionate about making music and who want to share this passion with others. In particular, the Amateur Program recognizes the importance of making music in daily life, and encourages the development of piano skills as a dedicated pursuit.

The curriculum consists of private piano lessons with the Paris Piano Program's faculty, and attendance at all Paris Piano Program group activities, including master classes, seminars, and concerts (see schedule).

Applicants should be comfortable playing traditional classical repertoire at a minimum level equivalent to a complete Mozart piano sonata.

In certain cases, it is possible to enroll in the Amateur Program on a weekly basis. Please contact the administration for details.

Tuition & Fees

Tuition : $1,500
Housing   : $800 for single room, including breakfast
   

$600 for double room, including breakfast

 Full tuition and housing fees are due on May 8.

Limited financial aid and scholarship are available. To be considered, you must submit a Financial Evaluation Form along with your application.
